Recently, Nanjing Landsea Green Center has been awarded China's first VCS building energy conservation project certification. The Environmental Bridge has applied the development experience of over 100 VCS projects in the international carbon trading market, enabling Landsea Holdings to complete the global voluntary emission reduction of Nanjing Landsea Green Center. VCS Certificate

Landsea Nanjing Green Center, which has been certified by VCS this time, is located in the core area of Dongdamen, Xuanwu District, Nanjing, with Zijin Mountain in the south and Xuanwu Avenue in the north and a total of 9 buildings and area of about 140,000 square meters. The Environmental Bridge empowers Nanjing Landsea Green Center VCS building energy conservation project from project registration application, project issuance, third-party agency review, and carbon asset project management. Nanjing Landsea Green Center is built in strict accordance with the five standards of LEED in the United States, WELL double platinum certification, three-star green building, DGNB in Germany, and BREEAM in the United Kingdom. As a low-carbon headquarters park, it has been regarded as a benchmark in the field of operation.

At present, the overall level of building energy consumption of the project is about 25-28 kWh per square meter, while the production capacity reaches 30 kWh. After it is officially put into use, the project is expected to use 2.49 million kWh less power from the grid each year than other benchmark buildings of the same type in the same area, resulting in 1,442 tons of carbon dioxide emission reduction. After being certified by the VCS platform, it can be used in the resource emission reduction market.

Landsea Green Center

The VCS, the world's broadest certification standard for resource-based emissions reductions, was co-led by the Climate Group (CG), the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2005. Designed to allow certified projects to convert their greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction and removal into tradable carbon credits, it helps address the world's toughest environmental problems and social challenges by setting and managing standards that will help the private sector, states, and civil society achieve sustainability and climate action goals.

此次荣获VCS认证的南京朗诗绿色中心位于南京市玄武区东大门核心区位,南靠紫金山,北临玄武大道,共9栋建筑、总面积约14万平方米。环保桥从项目注册申请、项目签发、第三方机构审核、碳资产项目管理等为南京朗诗绿色中心VCS建筑节能项目赋能。南京朗诗绿色中心严格按照美国LEED、WELL双铂金认证、绿建三星、德国DGNB、英国BREEAM五大标准打造,作为低碳总部园区已被视作业界标杆。

目前,该项目建筑能耗总体水平大约是25-28千瓦时每平方米,而产能则达到30千瓦时。待正式投入使用后,项目预计每年将比同地区同类型的基准建筑少使用249万度来自电网的供电,从而产生1442吨二氧化碳减排量,经由VCS平台认证之后,可在资源减排市场上进行交易。
