
Recently, CATL officially released the "Ship-Shore-Cloud" integrated
solution and reached strategic cooperation with enterprises such as
Jiangxi Pi Ship under Qinshi Group, Guangxi Pinglu Canal Group, and
Chengrui Electric Power. This marks a systematic breakthrough in CATL's
"global increment" strategy in the field of water transportation,
establishing a complete industrial ecosystem from core hardware to

The launch of the "Ship-Shore-Cloud" integrated solution sets a new technical standard for water transportation.
To
solve the industry challenges in promoting electric ships, such as high
initial costs, inconvenient energy replenishment, and complex
operations, CATL has achieved three major technological leaps at the
electric ship system level:
• On the ship side: CATL has
launched the "Dual-branch Box-type Power Supply", completing the leap
from "automotive-grade" to "marine-grade". This product has obtained
certifications from five major global classification societies: China
Classification Society (CCS), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Det
Norske Veritas (DNV) of Norway, Registro Italiano Navale (RINA) of
Italy, and Bureau Veritas (BV) of France. Its redundant design
fundamentally ensures the long-term operational safety of ships in humid
and highly salt-foggy environments.
• On the shore side: Two
innovative models, "ship-electricity separation" and "battery bank", are
implemented. By operating batteries as independent assets and
supporting the construction of charging and swapping networks, the aim
is to significantly reduce the initial purchase threshold for shipowners
and improve the operational economy of electric ships throughout their
life cycle.
• On the cloud side: Relying on the "Yunfan"
platform and the "Beichen" system, the data links between ships, ports,
and electricity are connected, enabling comprehensive intelligent
management and energy efficiency optimization of ship energy
consumption, battery health, and navigation scheduling.

为解决电动船舶推广中面临的初始成本高、补能不便及运营复杂等行业难题,宁德时代在电动船舶系统层面实现了三重技术跨越:
• 在船端:宁德时代推出了“双支路箱式电源”,完成了从“车规级”到“船规级”的跨越。该产品已获得中国CCS、美国ABS、挪威DNV、意大利RINA、法国BV全球五大船级社认证,通过冗余设计从根本上保障了船舶在潮湿、高盐雾环境下的长周期运营安全。
• 在岸端:推行“船电分离”与“电池银行”两大创新模式。通过将电池作为独立资产进行运营,并配套建设充换电网络,旨在显著降低船东的初次购置门槛,提升电动船舶全生命周期的运营经济性。
• 在云端:依托“云帆”平台与“北辰”系统,打通船、港、电数据链路,实现对船舶能耗、电池健康、航行调度的全面智能管理与能效优化。
Signing Contracts with Three Key Partners to Jointly Build a Zero-Carbon Shipping Ecosystem
To accelerate the large-scale implementation of technical solutions, CATL has reached strategic cooperation agreements with representative enterprises in the fields of major projects, infrastructure, and shipbuilding, focusing on the construction of a green shipping ecosystem:
• Jointly developing new ship models with Pi Ship: Integrating CATL's power battery technology with Pi Ship's expertise in new composite materials and high-performance boat manufacturing, the two parties will jointly develop a new generation of green and intelligent ship models for the market.
• Jointly building the Pinglu Canal Green Corridor with Guangxi Pinglu Canal Group: Centering on this key project of the "New Western Land-Sea Corridor", CATL and Guangxi Pinglu Canal Group will conduct in-depth cooperation in the fields of green and intelligent shipbuilding, and the construction of a clean energy system for the canal, serving national major strategies with zero-carbon technology.
• Collaborating with Chengrui Power to layout port energy infrastructure: CATL and Chengrui Power will leverage their advantages in new energy and port and shipping electrification, jointly promote the construction and operation of infrastructure such as port shore power and intelligent charging and swapping facilities, and solve the "last mile" energy replenishment problem in the large-scale application of electric ships.

为加速技术方案的规模化落地,宁德时代围绕绿色航运生态建设,分别与重大工程、基础设施及船舶制造领域的代表性企业达成战略合作:
• 与圆周率船舶共研新船型:融合宁德时代的动力电池技术与圆周率船舶在新型复合材料、高性能船艇制造方面的专长,双方共同研发面向市场的新一代绿色、智能船型。
• 与广西平陆运河集团共建平陆运河绿色走廊:围绕这一“西部陆海新通道”骨干工程,宁德时代与广西平陆运河集团将在绿色智能船舶建造、运河清洁能源体系构建等领域展开深度合作,以零碳科技服务国家重大战略。
• 与澄瑞电力协同布局港口能源基础设施:宁德时代与澄瑞电力将协同发挥在新能源与港航电气化领域的优势,共同推进港口岸电、智能充换电等基础设施的建设与运营,解决电动船舶规模化应用中“最后一公里”的补能难题。
To date, CATL has delivered nearly 900 electric ships in total, with application scenarios covering inland river freight, coastal passenger transport, and ocean-going auxiliary transportation. The release of the "ship-shore-cloud" integrated solution and the achievement of a series of strategic cooperation are important measures for CATL to implement the "global incremental" strategy and build an integrated land, sea, and air zero-carbon energy ecosystem. In the future, CATL will continue to collaborate with all parties in the industrial chain to promote the transformation of the global shipping industry towards a green, low-carbon, and sustainable direction.
