On June 25th, His Excellency Paul Mashatille, Vice President of South Africa, led a delegation to visit Mindray's Shenzhen headquarters. Zuko Godlinpi, Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition of South Africa, and others accompanied the visit. Wu Hao, President of Mindray Medical, and Xu Kewen, General Manager of the International Region, also accompanied the reception.

6月25日，南非副总统保罗·马沙蒂莱阁下率代表团到访迈瑞深圳总部，南非贸易、工业和竞争部副部长祖科·戈德林皮等随行访问，迈瑞医疗总裁吴昊、国际区总经理徐克文等陪同接待。

Both sides had in-depth discussions on topics such as medical AI, digital transformation, talent cultivation, and localization. At the symposium, the Vice President of South Africa stated that the purpose of this visit is to seek cooperation in strategic areas that are crucial to South Africa's growth and development goals, with healthcare being one of the core issues. He thanked Mindray for its deep involvement in South Africa's healthcare industry over the years and looked forward to further deepening cooperation and establishing long-term relationships to promote industrialization, technology transfer, and more.

Wu Hao, President of Mindray Medical, stated that Mindray is the only TOP30 medical device company that has grown from a developing country and is willing to become an indispensable long-term strategic partner for the development of the South African medical industry, effectively serving as a solid bridge for cooperation in the medical field between the two countries.

Mindray has been in the South African market for 20 years and established a South African subsidiary in Johannesburg in 2014. Its business covers both public and private healthcare systems in South Africa, providing medical equipment, digital solutions, and long-term service support. It also actively participates in local academic development and education training.

The visit of this delegation marks a deeper level of medical cooperation between Mindray and South Africa. Mindray will take this as a new starting point, continue to deepen its development strategy in South Africa, and jointly build an efficient and inclusive digital healthcare ecosystem.
