By now, 14 bases, including those in China, Malaysia, Vietnam and the United States, have used more than 51.3 percent of clean energy through the comprehensive utilization of water, solar and wind energy. Jinko Solar will continue its efforts to increase the proportion of renewable energy use to 60 percent by the end of 2023.

In addition to its own green energy operations, Jinko Solar has worked hard to convince its suppliers and partners to commit to using 100 percent renewable energy in businesses related to Jinko Solar's products.

The larger the capacity, the more difficult it is to achieve 100% renewable energy. Over the past few years, Jinko Solar has expanded its capacity at an average annual rate of 40-50%, and will almost double its 2021 capacity in 2022. However, at the same time, Jinko Solar is making great strides towards the goal of RE100 through unremitting efforts.

Three production sites in Chu Hsiung, Lok SAN and Penang have achieved 100% green electricity production by signing power purchase agreements (PPA) with renewable energy suppliers and the rest are on track to achieve the same goal. Jinko Solar believes that the most difficult task in the future to achieve 100% renewable energy production will be nearby factories that lack suitable green energy. Finding enough renewable energy to meet operational power needs and match the rate of power-hungry capacity expansion is a challenge.

产能规模越大，要实现100%可再生能源的应用便越加困难。在过去几年中，晶科能源以年均40-50%的增速在扩产，2022年的产能几乎已经达到了2021年的两倍。可就在扩产的同时，晶科能源同步通过不懈努力向RE100的目标大步前行。
