Tingdong Wu said that JA deeply understands the significance of low-carbon transformation for the long-term development of enterprises, and has made a series of practical explorations in carbon emission reduction. From organizational philosophy to structure setting, organizational action to product practice, JA Solar promotes the realization of low-carbon management and sustainable development in an all-round way. This year, JA Solar made a commitment to join SBTi and actively carried out the work of organizing carbon inventory, which was verified and recognized by a third-party certification body.

Tingdong Wu emphasized that JA Solar deeply practices ESG concepts and comprehensively promotes its own green and low-carbon transformation. Energy saving, consumption reduction, pollution reduction and carbon reduction, comprehensive implementation of green manufacturing, 5 production bases have been awarded the title of national "green factory". Ja Solar has also built distributed photovoltaic power stations on the roof of the factory, and increased the proportion of external clean energy applications such as wind and solar, hydropower, etc. JA Australia's carbon reduction efforts have achieved some success in the past two years, with carbon intensity falling by about 20% month-on-month. At the same time, the smart energy business will be widely developed, and it is expected that by the end of this year, the self-sustaining photovoltaic power generation project will be about 100 million kilowatts, and the annual green power generation will be about 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours.

As of the end of the third quarter of 2022, JA Solar has shipped more than 115 GW of PV modules, which are used in photovoltaic power generation to produce 149.5 billion kWh of green power per year, which can reduce C02 emissions by 150 million tons per year, equivalent to planting 8.05 billion trees.

武廷栋表示，晶澳深刻理解低碳转型对于企业长期发展的意义，在碳减排方面做了一系列实践探索。晶澳从组织理念到架构设置，从组织行动到产品实践，全方位推动低碳经营管理和可持续发展的实现。今年，晶澳做出了加入SBTi的承诺,积极开展组织碳盘查工作，相关工作得到第三方认证机构的验证认可。

武廷栋强调，晶澳深入践行ESG理念，全面推进自身的绿色低碳转型。节能降耗、减污降碳，全面推行绿色制造，已有5家生产基地获评国家级“绿色工厂”称号。工厂屋顶建设分布式光伏电站，加大风光、水电等外部清洁能源应用比例。晶澳近两年减碳工作取得了一定成效，碳强度环比下降约20%。同时广泛发展智慧能源业务，预计到今年底，自持光伏发电项目约100百万千瓦，年发绿电约12亿千瓦时。

截至2022年三季度末，晶澳光伏组件出货累计超过115吉瓦，应用于光伏发电每年生产1,495亿千瓦时绿电，每年可减少C02排放量1.5亿吨，相当于植树80.5亿棵。
