Recently, Indonesia's VKTR Group officially delivered 22 BYD electric buses K9 to the local bus company Mayasari. After the batch of buses is put into operation, it will further contribute to the green and low-carbon development of local public transportation.

The 22 pure electric buses delivered this time will gradually be put into operation on the lines of Transjakarta operators, adding a touch of environmental protection to Jakarta. By providing effective green transportation solutions, we aim to assist Indonesia in achieving the goal of national bus electrification by 2030.

This is the second batch of orders delivered by BYD in Indonesia. Through the operation of electric buses, BYD provides urban green transportation solutions for Jakarta and Indonesia, promoting local efforts to promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and fulfilling the dream of green transportation.

In 2022, Chinese company BYD and its Indonesian partner VKTR Group announced a partnership with the local bus assembly plant Tri Sakti to jointly promote the industrialization of new energy vehicles in Indonesia. On March 8, 2023, the first batch of 30 BYD buses were successfully delivered to the bus operator Transjakarta in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. This is the first batch of pure electric buses officially put into operation in Indonesia.
