Recently, a national case exchange and learning event themed on green spaces, titled " Beautiful China • Distinguished Green Users for Spaces," was held in Shenzhen. Case representatives from across the country gathered to jointly explore how to promote low-carbon transformation through daily behaviors and inject folk wisdom into the construction of a Beautiful China.

一场以绿色空间为主题的“美丽中国，我是行动者——绿色空间使用者行动”全国性案例交流学习活动，日前在深圳举行，来自全国各地的案例代表齐聚一堂，共同探讨如何通过日常行为推动低碳转型，为美丽中国建设注入民间智慧。

This event is co-initiated by the Center for Environmental Education and Communications of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Onewo Inc, in conjunction with Tsinghua University, the Corporate Carbon Neutrality Initiative, and the C Team for Promoting Climate Change Responses. Launched in April this year, it has collected 97 cases through recommendations from the national environmental publicity and education system, covering communities, schools, enterprises and other fields, demonstrating the active exploration of grassroots in the construction of ecological civilization.

本次活动由生态环境部宣传教育中心、万物云空间科技服务股份有限公司联合清华大学、企业碳中和行动、大道应对气候变化促进中心共同发起，自今年4月启动以来，通过全国环境宣传教育系统推荐，共征集到97个案例，覆盖社区、学校、企业等多个领域，展现了基层在生态文明建设中的积极探索。

Guided by the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, it promotes the coordinated advancement of carbon reduction, pollution control, green expansion, and growth. This national strategy provides a solid policy background for this event. In response, Lin Yu, Deputy Director of the Publicity and Education Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, stated: "There are no bystanders in ecological and environmental protection; everyone is a protector, builder, and beneficiary." He emphasized that the Distinguished Green Users for Spaces action is precisely the key bridge connecting policy language to daily actions.

二十届四中全会明确提出“加快经济社会发展全面绿色转型”，以碳达峰碳中和为牵引，协同推进降碳、减污、扩绿、增长，这一国家战略为本次活动提供了坚实的政策背景。对此，生态环境部宣教中心副主任林玉表示：“生态环境保护没有旁观者，每个人都是保护者、设者和受益者。”他强调，绿色空间使用者行动正是将政策语言转化为日常行动的关键桥梁。

The 97 cases collected during the event collectively demonstrate the innovative practices of the public in the field of low-carbon development.

The Donghu Campus of Wuhan Wuluo Road Middle School has innovatively adopted the "1+10" model. With an energy consumption monitoring platform as its core, it integrates ten major scenarios including photovoltaic power generation and rainwater recycling, and achieves energy conservation and emission reduction through behavioral guidance. For example, intelligent systems optimize energy consumption in real time, students participate in environmental protection through a carbon credit system, resulting in an annual water savings of 1,400 tons and a reduction of over 120 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

武汉市武珞路中学东湖校区创新采用"1+10"模式，以能耗监测平台为核心，结合光伏发电、雨水回收等十大场景，通过行为引导实现节能减排，如智能系统实时优化能耗，学生通过碳积分制度参与环保，年节水量达1400吨，减排二氧化碳超120吨；

Vanke Property leverages a carbon management platform to achieve accurate accounting of carbon emissions in public areas, providing a standardized carbon reduction pathway for the property industry.

万科物业运用碳管理平台，实现公共区域碳排放精准核算，为物业行业提供标准化降碳路径；

The "Yiqifen" Community in Chengyang District, Qingdao has realized the recycling of waste resources. It has transformed garbage areas into composting bases, achieving environmental improvement and the integration of community culture and neighborhood relations at a low cost of less than 100 yuan per square meter.

青岛市城阳区壹起分社区通过废弃资源循环利用，将垃圾区改造为堆肥基地，以不足百元/平方米的低成本实现环境提升与社区文化、邻里关系融合；

Liaoning Carbon Emissions Trading Center has launched a "carbon credit" mechanism, integrating low-carbon behaviors into the student evaluation system. It covers over 40,000 teachers and students, with an annual emission reduction of more than 660 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e).

辽宁碳排放权交易中心推出“碳学分”机制，将低碳行为纳入学生评价体系，覆盖师生4万余人，年减排量超660吨二氧化碳当量；

All these cases embody the characteristics of "low cost and high participation," fully demonstrating the creativity of folk wisdom in green practices. In his comments, Zhang Jian, Vice Dean of the Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development at Tsinghua University, pointed out that these cases have eliminated the "sense of distance" in low-carbon transformation and reflected the bottom-up governance wisdom. This "everyone can contribute" model is precisely the social foundation needed for the construction of a Beautiful China.

这些案例均体现出“低成本、高参与”的特点，充分展现了民间智慧在绿色实践中的创造力。清华大学气候变化与可持续发展研究院副院长张健在点评中指出，这些案例破解了低碳转型的‘距离感’，体现了自下而上的治理智慧，这种‘人人可为’的模式正是美丽中国建设需要的社会基础。

He Chaoxin, Chief Youth Officer of the Global University Climate Alliance, also holds the view that traditional emission reduction has mostly focused on industrial and high-intensity emission sectors. However, the cases showcased at the event focus on daily urban spaces—schools, communities, and shopping malls—which are the "capillaries" of low-carbon living. "Although the actions here are small, they converge into enormous energy. They transform the construction of ecological civilization from policy documents to people's daily lives, forming social consensus."

世界大学气候变化联盟首席青年官何超欣同样认为，传统减排多关注工业和高强度排放领域，而活动上的案例关注的是城市日常空间——学校、社区、商场，这些是低碳生活的“毛细血管”。 这里的行动虽小，却汇聚成巨大能量。它让生态文明建设从政策文件走向百姓生活，形成社会共识。”

As he stated, the in-depth value of the Distinguished Green Users for Spaces' Action lies in injecting "universal participation" into the construction of a Beautiful China. This event focuses on the emission reduction potential of urban micro-units, and some cases also reflect the principle of "ecological benefits for the people." For example, Wuhan Beihu Sub-district has improved people's livelihood through green facilities. Residents commented: "The photovoltaic benches can both charge devices and provide shade, making us feel that environmental protection is not a distant thing." This sense of gain has enhanced the policy's affinity and execution.

如其所言，绿色空间使用者行动的深层价值在于其为美丽中国建设注入了“全民性”。本次活动关注城市微观单元的减排潜力，部分案例还体现出“生态惠民”原则。例如，武汉北湖街道通过绿色设施改善民生，居民反馈：“光伏座椅既能充电又遮阳，让我们觉得环保不是遥远的事。”这种获得感增强了政策的亲和力与执行力。

Meanwhile, by optimizing building energy consumption algorithms and training employees in energy-saving skills, Onewo has achieved a result where electricity consumption in some of its Shenzhen projects is 8% lower than the city's average level—without additional hardware investment. Zhu Baoquan, representative of the event organizer and Chairman of Onewo, stated: "When low-carbon becomes a living habit, green truly becomes the foundation of development. Practices from enterprises, communities, and schools have proven that the construction of a Beautiful China requires the accumulated efforts of every space user."

而万物云通过优化楼宇能耗算法、培训员工节能技能，在不增加硬件投入的情况下，在部分深圳项目中实现用电量低于全市8%平均水平的成效。活动主办方代表、万物云董事长朱保全表示，“当低碳成为生活习惯，绿色才真正成为发展的底色。企业、社区和学校的实践证明，美丽中国建设需要每一个空间使用者的点滴努力。”

Wang Weiwei, Chairman of the Green Space Users' Action and General Manager of Onewo's Sustainable Development Center, revealed that an evaluation system will be established in the future to promote the transformation of outstanding practices into industry standards. "These cases will be included in the  DGUS Yearbook of  and presented to the international community at COP30. We plan to form a sustainable ecological governance network through mechanisms such as annual collection and international release, providing institutional support for the construction of a Beautiful China." With the promotion of more cases, the Green Space Users' Action is expected to become a bright highlight in China's dual carbon strategy, offering Chinese solutions for global ecological civilization construction.

绿色空间使用者行动主任委员、万物云可持续发展中心总经理王唯唯透露，未来将构建评价体系，推动优秀实践转化为行业标准。“本次案例将纳入《绿色空间使用者年鉴》，并在COP30上向国际社会展示。我们计划通过年度征集、国际发布等机制，形成可持续的生态治理网络，为美丽中国建设提供制度化支撑”。随着更多案例的推广，绿色空间使用者行动或将成为中国双碳战略中一抹亮丽的色彩，为全球生态文明建设提供中国方案。
