Recently, Sunwoda received a finalist notice from Benchmark Mineral Intelligence (Benchmark), a UK battery raw materials consultancy, for the global power battery Tier1. Sunwoda has become the fourth global power battery manufacturer in China.

Benchmark is the first overseas research institution focusing on Lithiumion Battery supply chain. Lithiumion Battery Megafactory Assessment released by Benchmark has high reference value in the industry. Benchmark conducts a comprehensive evaluation of global lithium battery manufacturers based on international quality system certification, supporting experience of international mainstream auto companies and global supply capacity. It will eventually be divided into Tier 1 (global power battery Tier 1 manufacturer), Tier 2 (global power battery Tier 2 manufacturer) and Tier 3 (global power battery Tier 3 manufacturer).

• Mandatory requirement for Tier 1 - Complete international Quality system certification

Sunwoda obtained IATF16949 automobile quality management system certification as early as 2012, and established a set of quality system that meets the standards of automobile enterprises. The company strictly follows the "vehicle level" quality and safety manufacturing control standards. Centering on process quality and safety control, the company adopts online quality control + offline MES full process dual control to ensure product quality level from quality awareness, raw material inspection, product production quality control, finished product shipment inspection, etc., to ensure "0" major quality accidents.

• Mandatory requirement for Tier 1 entry -- Have mature and stable supporting experience and data of international mainstream automobile companies

As early as 2020, Sunwoda has exported power batteries overseas in large quantities. Last year, Dacia Spring, which is produced by Renault Group's joint venture in China -- E-Jet and equipped with Sunwoda battery, was a great success in Europe. Since the pre-sale of Dacia Spring in March 2021, by the end of October, it had received more than 40,000 orders in just eight months. In October, it became the top-selling electric model in Italy and the runner-up in France.

According to Benchmark's criteria, Tier 1 candidates must have a cumulative annual battery capacity of more than 5GWh. Sunwoda has global supply chain capabilities and a stable customer base. In April this year, Sunwoda ranked ninth in the global power battery loading list, which is also the second time since November 2021, when it was listed on the global power battery TOP10 list. In may this year, Sunwoda ranked the top five in the domestic power battery load list, among which, three yuan battery enterprises ranked the third in the TOP10.

根据Benchmark评选标准，入围Tier 1需具备年累计电池产能超过5GWh。欣旺达拥有全球供应链能力和稳定的客户基础。今年4月全球动力电池装车量排行榜，欣旺达位居第九，这也是自2021年11月首次上榜全球动力电池TOP10之后的再次上榜。今年5月国内动力电池装车量排行榜，欣旺达稳居前五，其中，三元电池企业装车量TOP10位居第三。
