According to the relevant requirements of the autonomous driving function test of Guangzhou intelligent connected vehicles, Xpeng G9 has passed the autonomous driving closed field test, becoming the first mass-production car on sale in China to pass the autonomous driving closed field test.

It is reported that the test was carried out at night, through 31 city road scenarios, including the recognition and response of various indicator signals, left-right vehicle collision driving, parallel overtaking, two-wheelers and pedestrian avoidance, etc., to verify the vehicle's autonomous driving performance in complex and comprehensive city road scenarios.

According to reports, the biggest difference from other models on the market that passed the test is that the Xpeng G9 test vehicle does not have any additional sensors and computing units. It uses a 360° perception system based on the production car's own camera, millimeter wave radar, laser radar and other perception components. Its automatic driving hardware level is completely the same as that of the mass production model.

北极星储能网获悉，近日，按照广州市智能网联汽车自动驾驶功能测试的相关要求，小鹏G9通过自动驾驶封闭场地测试，成为国内首个通过自动驾驶封闭场地测试的在售量产车。

据悉，该测试在夜间进行，通过包括各类指示信号识别及响应、左右转车辆冲突行驶、并道超车、两轮车及行人避让等31个城市道路场景考试来验证车辆在复杂的综合城市道路场景中的自动驾驶表现。
