During the 27th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), "China Corner -- Gathering the Power of Enterprises for a Zero-Carbon Future" released the "2022 Corporate Climate Action Case Collection", and Weiqiao Pioneering Group Yunnan Project was included.

Yunnan Wenshan Green Aluminum Innovation Industrial Park is an important project of the group to adapt to the trend of global energy change, optimize the energy structure and achieve green and low-carbon development. The industrial park replaces traditional energy with green hydropower, realizes the full utilization of hydropower resources, and promotes the deep integration of hydropower and aluminum industries. The park has signed contracts with nearly 20 downstream aluminum processing and supporting enterprises, achieving 100% local conversion of aluminum water and more than 80% local intensive processing rate of aluminum alloy. Weiqiao gives full play to the leading role of the industrial chain, leading all partners in the chain to deeply participate in the carbon reduction action, and continue to promote green and low-carbon development.

With its own actions, Weiqiao Pioneering Group has led more enterprises to join in the green development action. It has also demonstrated the pioneering actions and sample strength of Chinese enterprises in tackling climate change on the international stage.
