Eight Chinese asset management companies, including Efunda Fund, China Merchants Fund [600036: CN], Guangfa Fund, Wells Fargo Fund and Huitanfu Fund, have applied to the CSRC to launch new carbon-neutral ETFs, China Business News reported on April 21. The eight ETFs are the first carbon-neutral ETFs to be submitted for listing in China. Once approved, the carbon-neutral ETFs will be traded on the Shanghai Environmental energy Exchange.
