On the morning of May 8, a total investment of 67.5 billion yuan of Chuneng New Energy lithium battery project was started in xiaogan Airport Zone in Hubei Province. The industrial park plans to build a capacity of 150GWh lithium battery, divided into five phases, of which the first phase of the project has a capacity of 30GWh. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will integrate r&d, manufacturing and sales of power batteries, energy storage batteries and energy management systems, and become a large-scale new energy industrial base with an annual industrial output value of over 100 billion yuan.

This project is the largest industrial project with investment volume and construction scale in Xiaogan City. It only takes 100 days from contract to construction. For a large project planned to cover an area of more than 3,000 mu, Xiaogan needs to complete the level work of 1,766 mu in 90 days, which is unprecedented difficulty.

5月8日上午，总投资675亿元的楚能新能源锂电池项目在湖北省孝感市临空区开工。该产业园规划建设150GWh锂电池产能，分五期建设，其中项目一期30GWh产能。项目全部建成投产后，将集动力电池、储能电池和能源管理系统的研发、制造、销售于一体，成为年工业产值过千亿元的大型新能源产业基地。

该项目是孝感市投资体量、建设规模最大的工业项目，从签约到动工仅历时100天。对于一个计划占地3000余亩的大项目，孝感需要在90天的时间里完成1766亩的场平工作，这样的难度可谓史无前例。
