The United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) China Network recently released the list of "Best Practices for Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2021", and SunPower was awarded the "Carbon Peak and carbon neutral" best practice case based on its outstanding performance in the practice of the "dual carbon" target.

SunPower adheres to the main circuit of new energy industry such as photovoltaic, wind energy, energy storage, hydrogen energy and electric vehicles, and is committed to the replacement of old and new energy sources and the improvement of energy conversion efficiency. It echoes the dual carbon strategy and practice with the core business of "technical strength". By the end of 2021, the company's inverter equipment has accumulated 224 million kW worldwide, produces about 315.2 billion KWH of clean electricity every year, reduces carbon dioxide by 252 million tons, and actively contributes to global sustainable development.

In 2021, the company further accelerated its own carbon neutrality, increasing its share of green electricity consumption to 35%, achieving its 100% renewable electricity target by 2028, and increasing its energy productivity by at least 35% compared with 2018. At the same time, the company leads by example, actively promotes global partners to build a green industrial chain, leads the green and low-carbon development of the industry, and jointly contributes professional strength to the realization of the double carbon grand goal.
