Recently, Li Dongsheng, the founder and chairman of TCL, was invited to participate in the "ESG+20 Sustainable Development Leadership Series Interview" organized by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). In the practice of green carbon reduction, Li Dongsheng pointed out that in the production end, TCL Huaxing achieved a power saving of 220000 megawatt hours through multiple energy-saving measures in 2024. The printing OLED production line announced in October 2025 can significantly reduce power consumption compared to traditional vacuum evaporation processes, achieving source carbon reduction; On the product side, TCL Xiaolanyi energy-saving air conditioner won the Best Energy saving Product Award at the 2025 European IFA Electronics Show, promoting carbon reduction in the consumer end through green design; On the industrial side, TCL Zhonghuan, as the world's largest photovoltaic crystal chip enterprise, supports the development of global clean energy with its core products and assists in the transformation of the global energy structure.
在绿色降碳实践上，李东生指出，在生产端，TCL华星于2024年通过多项节能措施实现节电22万兆瓦时，2025年10月宣布投建的印刷OLED产线，相较传统真空蒸镀工艺可大幅降低电力消耗，实现源头减碳；在产品端，TCL小蓝翼节能空调斩获2025年欧洲IFA电子展最佳节能产品奖，以绿色设计推动消费端减碳；在产业端，TCL中环作为全球最大的光伏晶体晶片企业，以核心产品支撑全球清洁能源发展，助力全球能源结构转型。

From the acquisition of Thomson TV and Alcatel's mobile phone business in 2004 to the establishment of manufacturing bases in Mexico, Vietnam and other places today, TCL has followed the global industry trend and completed the transformation from exporting products to jointly building industrial capabilities with local areas. TCL invests about 12 billion yuan annually in technology research and development, and has accumulated 124000 patents, including nearly 20000 PCT patents. In recent years, TCL has introduced AI big model technology into its intelligent manufacturing system, improving efficiency, quality, and R&D cycle. By 2024, it will bring economic benefits of 530 million yuan to TCL Huaxing.
“对先进制造业来说，科技创新能力是最重要的核心能力。”李东生介绍，TCL每年投入约120亿元用于技术研发，累计拥有12.4万件专利，其中PCT专利近2万件。近年来，TCL将AI大模型技术导入智能制造体系，提升了效率、质量和研发周期，2024年为TCL华星带来5.3亿元的经济效益。


Li Dongsheng emphasized that the core of brand reputation comes from the fulfillment of social responsibility and consumer recognition. TCL has fully integrated ESG work into the business strategies and annual plans of various business segments, insisting on releasing ESG reports annually and accepting social supervision in an open and transparent manner. In 2025, TCL became a global partner of the Olympics, and its related brand actions significantly increased global market attention. That year, sales in the European market achieved a 30% growth, realizing the dual empowerment of commercial value and social value.
李东生强调，品牌美誉度的核心，来自于社会责任的履行与消费者的认同。TCL已将ESG工作全面纳入各业务板块经营战略与年度规划，坚持每年发布 ESG报告，以公开透明的方式接受社会监督。2025年，TCL成为奥林匹克全球合作伙伴，相关品牌动作显著提升全球市场关注度，当年欧洲市场销售实现30%增长，实现了商业价值与社会价值的双向赋能。


Since officially joining the United Nations Global Compact in July 2024, TCL has pledged to support the Ten Principles of the Global Compact on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, and actively committed to promoting the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
