

Recently, the Longi Green Energy ACM (Nanoalloy Matrix Contact) battery project was officially put into mass production at the Xixian production base, becoming a key milestone in the large-scale implementation of Longi's new battery technology. The Longi R&D team has been continuously tackling key issues for nearly a decade, achieving multiple core breakthroughs in ACM battery materials, processes, and equipment. In terms of performance, certified by the Hamelin Institute of Solar Energy in Germany, the efficiency of LONGi ACM cells reaches 27.6%; Certified by T Ü V Rheinland, the ACM component has a power of 672 watts.
Mass production import data shows that ACM technology has increased production conversion efficiency by 0.2% -0.3% and component power by 3-5 watts. It has completed a benchmark mass production import at the gigawatt level and achieved industry-leading stability and reliability. Li Zhenguo, founder and Chief Technology Officer of Longi Green Energy, stated that Longi has established a full chain intellectual property system covering core materials, process technology, and equipment adaptation around ACM technology, building a solid technological moat. In the future, Longi will continue to deepen supply chain collaboration and further consolidate its technological leadership advantage.
Since the completion of the first delivery of the testing line in December 2025, ACM technology has moved from the laboratory to mass production, with efficient collaboration between R&D and manufacturing, and rapid completion of equipment iteration and process verification. He Jiangtao, the head of Longi Battery Manufacturing Center, stated that the implementation of the BC 2.0 and ACM combination process is an important breakthrough for Longi in battery efficiency upgrading and technological iteration. Under the coordinated operation of multiple bases, the new material factory took only three months from project approval to mass production, shortening the production capacity ramp up cycle by 20 days compared to conventional methods. This technology enables rapid import and lays a solid foundation for large-scale replication of multiple bases. Zhong Baoshen, Chairman and General Manager of Longi Green Energy, stated that the ACM battery production line represents the top manufacturing level in the industry. Standing at a new starting point of large-scale production, Longi will transform its experience in rapid mass production into standardization capabilities, steadily promote the ramp up and expansion of multi base production lines, and continue to promote the iterative upgrading of new battery technologies while ensuring quality.
