Since 2024, China National Petroleum Corporation has set up 9 green sharing houses in two batches at its affiliated units such as Daqing Oilfield, Changqing Oilfield, Kunlun Energy, Tarim Oilfield, Xinjiang Oilfield, and Dagang Oilfield, covering a total area of 1,100 square meters. As a platform and base for biodiversity conservation science popularization, these houses receive over 10,000 visitors annually. Relying on the green sharing houses, 197 volunteer service members have been recruited as house guides, who have organized over 200 activities, reaching both employees and local communities, significantly enhancing the ecological protection awareness of petroleum employees and the general public.

They are constructed by renovating existing buildings in areas where employees and the public gather. An innovative integrated model of "research display + popular science education + biological conservation" has been created to achieve the integration of multiple ecological values. The park where the green cabins of Daqing Oilfield are located has been recognized as an outstanding case of ecological civilization education practice in Heilongjiang Province in 2025. The green shared cabin of Daqing Oilfield is located in the 10,000 mu "zero carbon" ecological park in Ma'anshan, covering an area of nearly 300 square meters.
