If we do not take active measures and allow the temperature to continue to increase, we will have many adverse effects." Recently, ADI China product division market and application manager Wang Xingwei worried.Wang xingwei suggests that energy saving and emission reduction can be achieved from three aspects:

First, build green data centers. The energy consumption of data centers is very large. Taking ADI as an example, ADI's data centers emit nearly 13 million tons of carbon emissions every year. As a result, chip companies can use products and technologies to reduce carbon emissions in their data centers, such as ADI's 48-volt power management solution to reduce energy consumption in the entire data center. It is reported that the efficiency of the data center can be improved by more than 30% after the adjustment. At the same time, the data center also needs to support the corresponding energy storage system, so that the energy management of the whole data center is more stable, reduce energy consumption.

Second, use more renewable energy. In the process of chip production, carbon emissions can be greatly reduced by using renewable energy. For example, the use of renewable energy can be planned more rationally with the solution of matching chips to better realize energy saving and emission reduction throughout the production cycle.

第一,建立绿色环保的数据中心。数据中心的能耗是非常大,以ADI为例,全球ADI的数据中心每年近1300万吨的碳排放。因此,芯片企业可通过相应的产品和技术,减少在数据中心的碳排放量,例如,ADI通过48伏的电源管理方案,降低整个数据中心的能耗。据悉,通过该方案进行调整后的数据中心,效率提升可以达到30%以上。与此同时,数据中心当中也需要配套相应的储能系统,使得整个数据中心的能源管理更加稳定,降低能耗。

第二,利用更多可再生能源。在芯片生产的过程中,通过利用可再生能源,能够大大减少生产过程中的碳排放量。例如,利用配套芯片的解决方案,对可再生能源的使用进行更加合理地规划,更好地实现全生产周期的节能减排。
