On January 8, 2022, at 9:00 am, Weichai Power launched the world's first ontology thermal efficiency 51.09% diesel engine and the symposium on the operation of the National Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Center and the "Hydrogen into 10,000" technology demonstration project was held in Jinan, Shandong Province.

During the event, Weichai's demonstration and application achievements in hydrogen energy parks, hydrogen energy ports and hydrogen energy expressways were exhibited. A demonstration operation delivery ceremony of the first batch of hydrogen fuel heavy trucks in Shandong ports was held. The first batch of China heavy truck hydrogen fuel heavy tractor, supported by Weichai's high-power hydrogen fuel cell system, have the characteristics of strong power, green environmental protection, safety and reliability, efficient and full attendance, etc. It is another work of Weichai's hydrogen energy industry. As a sign, the 15-200kW serialized hydrogen fuel cell system previously developed by Weichai Power began to open the road of large-scale demonstration and application.
