The first phase of China General Nuclear Power Group's Xingunita League Wind Power Base in Inner Mongolia was connected to the grid today, marking China's first single million-kilowatt onshore wind power base officially put into operation.

CGN Xingan League Wind Power Base is located in Xingan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total planned construction of 3 million kw wind turbines. The first phase of 1 million kw project is a mountain and hilly wind farm. The annual equivalent full load utilization hours can reach 3,058 hours, the annual online electricity is more than 3 billion KWH, saving more than 920,000 tons of standard coal and reducing nearly 2.5 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year, with good economic and environmental benefits.

Li Yilun, Deputy General Manager of CGN: This project is China's first onshore wind power project with 500 kV voltage level access to the power system. It is also the first new energy project to be absorbed through uHV transmission, which has achieved a number of industrial initiative in the field of new energy in China.

In the process of construction, CGNPC Xingunita League Wind Power Base also built a supporting wind power equipment manufacturing innovation demonstration industrial park, and established the development and operation mode of the whole industry chain of clean energy. The industrial park has the r&d, production and maintenance capacity of 10 million kilowatts of wind power equipment, which plays an important role in improving the new energy industrial structure and accelerating the development of equipment manufacturing industry in Xingan League.

今天（29日），中国广核集团内蒙古兴安盟风电基地一期100万千瓦风电项目并网发电，标志着我国首个单体百万千瓦级陆上风电基地正式投产。

中广核兴安盟风电基地位于内蒙古自治区兴安盟境内，共规划建设300万千瓦风电机组。本次投产的一期100万千瓦项目属山地丘陵风电场。每年等效满负荷利用小时数可达3058小时，年上网电量超过30亿度，每年可节约使用标准煤超过92万吨，减少二氧化碳排放近250万吨，具有良好的经济效益和环保效益。

中国广核集团副总经理 李亦伦：该项目是我国第一个500千伏电压等级接入电力系统的陆上风电项目，也是第一个通过特高压外送消纳的新能源项目，在我国新能源领域实现了多项行业首创。
